There are roughly 400,000 civil aircraft in the U.S. being serviced, modified, and supported by approximately 600,000 technicians. The people and companies who operate, manage, and work on these aircraft are subject to 3,000+ pages of complex rules and regulations published by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”).
